JSC «Minsk Research Institute of Radio Materials» (MNIRRM) specializes in the development and production of components for various electronic systems. The product line includes sensors based on MEMS technologies, microwave devices and modules, as well as optoelectronic components.
One of the key areas of MNIRRM’s activity is the creation of sensors and systems. The enterprise offers a wide range of sensors: from inductive position sensors for contactless switching of devices to tilt angle sensors, inclinometers, two-axis rotation angle sensors, strain sensors, and vibration acceleration sensors with analog and digital signal processing.
The advantage of cooperation with MNIRRM lies in the presence of its own design division and facilities, which allow the enterprise to quickly adapt sensors to the individual requirements of customers.
MNIRRM already has successful experience of cooperation with major industrial enterprises of Belarus such as JSC «BelAZ», JSC «MTZ», JSC «MAZ», JSC «Krasny Borets Machine Tool Plant» in the supply of sensors, ensuring high product quality and providing replacement in warranty situations.
The axle load control system for heavy vehicles developed by MNIRRM provides real-time monitoring of weight and axle load during loading and movement. It is based on the use of a strain sensor of MNIRRM’s own design, which has been patented in Belarus and Russia. Today, tilt angle sensors and strain sensors developed by MNIRRM are key elements of vehicle control and safety systems. They not only improve road safety but also optimize vehicle operation and maintenance processes.
Another example of MNIRRM’s innovative products is the Meteoblock M1. This compact device records environmental parameters and automates the process of meteorological observations, which is especially important for precision agriculture and the agro-industrial complex.
A successful example of product design and manufacturing is the differential probe, an analogue of the NOVAFLUX RFL200 sensor, used in equipment for detecting defects (cracks) on the surface of round steel billets. This product is supplied to JSC «Belarusian Metallurgical Plant» and can be adapted for similar installations.
MNIRRM, focusing on advanced technologies and market needs, is actively working on the development of new types of sensors and the improvement of existing models.
Main trends:
1. Innovative materials: research in the field of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies may lead to the creation of more sensitive and compact sensors.
2. Integration with the Internet of Things (IoT): the development of sensors with built-in data transmission technology will make smart monitoring systems more accessible and efficient.
3. Expansion of measurable parameters: the introduction of sensors capable of measuring not only basic values but also more complex parameters such as environmental quality or material condition.
Sensors from MNIRRM not only ensure reliable operation of various systems but also contribute to the development of modern technologies and to increasing safety and efficiency in various fields of application. The development of new sensors and control systems continues to be an important area of the enterprise’s activity, opening new prospects for innovation and improving people’s lives.
