OJSC “MINSK RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF RADIOMATERIALS”
Angel encoder DUP-360
PURPOSE
This sensor is intended for converting the rotation angle into a formatted electrical signal.
APPLICATION
Leveling systems and determination of the rotation angle of the suspension arm of automotive and tractor machinery.
DEVICE DESCRIPTION
The sensor consists of two parts: the converter and the magnetic system. This design allows the magnetic system of the DUP‑360 sensor to be mounted on the rotating suspension part, while the converter is mounted on the stationary part.
The absence of mechanical connection between the magnetic system and the converter ensures proper sensor operation even with axial displacement of the magnetic system relative to the converter within ±2.5 mm.
This provides full control of the condition of the equipment or mechanism in which it is integrated, timely warning of critical loads and damages.
The rotation angle sensor includes a dual‑axis Hall sensor, digital signal processing unit, voltage stabilizer, interface circuit, magnetic system with two magnets, and a ring magnetic field shunt.
DESIGN FEATURES
1. Allowable displacement of the magnetic system along the sensor axis up to ±2.5 mm.
2. Internal compensation of temperature drift and conversion coefficient.
3. Capability of operation in a local network.
DUP‑360 FUNCTIONALITY
- Operation in a local network.
- Compensation of temperature drift of zero level and signal scale.
- Software zero setting.
- Monitoring of sensor supply voltage.

APPLICATION RECOMMENDATIONS
DUP‑360 sensors are connected to user equipment via RS‑485 interface, in local network mode with data transfer rate of 19,200 bit/s. The communication protocol is specified in the DUP passport.
The DUP‑360 components are installed in the suspension structure so that the magnetic system is securely fixed on the moving part, and the converter is fixed on the stationary part. The deviation of dimension L=10 mm must be within ±2.5 mm. For alignment of the magnetic system axis with the converter axis during installation, a centering sleeve is included in the delivery set.
Alignment of marks on the converter and magnetic system corresponds to 0 (360) degrees.
