The Director of JSC «Minsk Research Institute of Radio Materials» (hereinafter – MNIRRM), Yu.M. Kernasovsky, gave an interview for the information‑analytical program “Nedelya” on the STV TV channel.

Yu.M. Kernasovsky noted that MNIRRM serves as a unique platform in the post‑Soviet space for the production of components for unmanned vehicles, including with the use of nanotechnologies. He spoke about developments using MEMS technologies and the production of sensors and systems applied in mechanical engineering as well as in medical equipment.

The Director emphasized that against the backdrop of sanctions pressure, new opportunities for import substitution and closer cooperation with the Russian Federation have emerged in joint projects for the development of innovative products.

MNIRRM successfully fulfills the tasks assigned to it in developing design and technological documentation, manufacturing and testing prototypes, followed by putting products into serial production to create a promising component base.
